Dr. Maria de Boyrie is an Associate Professor at NMSU. She came to NMSU in 2002 and received her Ph.D. from Florida International University in 1995. At NMSU, Dr. de Boyrie primarily teaches International Financial Management and Managerial Finance, where she specializes in international finance and trade. Dr. de Boyrie was chosen because she is a great representation of the Finance Department. She relates to many of her students because of her minority Hispanic background. Dr. de Boyrie teaches Finance 360, Financial Information Technology. Her class is unique because it is not lecture-based. Students are given their assignments and they attend class in a computer lab where she is available to answer questions.
