In my work place, the signature is needed in every confirmation document because we have to get valid information for some sections. Every person who gives important information or decision, they should give signature on the printed paper so everything can be responsibility. After all information already collected then the update sheet will be distributed to the related sections.
In the past every signature was doing manually so when they had to give sign on the material, they did it several time. Off course these can be a boring task.
